CAS Challenge "Me During the Quarantine"- works by 11IB students
"Once upon a time
Roses were red
Violets were blue
On days like these
Kids like me
Felt the quarantine as oh so cruel
A sickening fate and a bewildered I
Come together to make us cry
Pain and death and crisis dawn
Cross my mind like a pitiable song
Look and as you'll see, if you think carefully
You've already decided to Come with me
My mind and reality, soon to be torn
For a New world order is bound to be born
Its a fact, all you courageous lads, are in a trade of scorn drats
To begin, to a start to my own obitchuary
A hallucinary crazy game, getting me lost for miles.
May have gotten too torn up as i forgot how to smile
ANd all this corny poem writing has really made me lose my style."

Visiting the oldest college in Cambridge University- Peterhouse at the invitation of the youngest professor at Cambridge- the Bulgarian Deyan Mihaylov. Meeting this wonderful young Bulgarian was a true inspiration for the children. Asked whether you have to be very smart to achieve what he had, he replies "No, you only need to know what is interesting for you and what you want to do". So, we can't wait to meet him again at the school soon.
